i think Zo would make a great coach if hes healthy or how about Patrick being involved? or have Thompson go on some recruitng visits. i would love to see a guy like Johnny dawkins come in also. im only 16 so i wasnt around in the glory days of Gtown hoops, i grew up on AI(him wearing the Jordans did somethin to me) and Victor Paige. Esherick needs to be fired today. and i cant beleive we arent even gonna make it to Ny. also once hes done playing i would love to see Jerome Williams in some kind of role with the team. i thought we were gonna be a top 25 team with a sweet 16 run in us and we have the talent but we dont have the coach.
anyone know the status on Patrick Ewing Jr?

jr will decide in the late signing period. this season can't be helping our chances of landing him (or anyone else for that matter).

GU really needs a clean break from Thompson. I really want nothing to do with his son (Ronny) or anyone that learned under him. The Ewing idea being bandied about is silly. I can't see a recently retired NBA great really having the energy to do the work on the ground to bring Georgetown back to prominence. This is not a quick fix situation. I'd cite Clyde Drexler's experience at Houston as an example of this.
If this were to come to pass I want Johnny Dawkins. My feeling is we'll be a year late on Dawkins.
